Make it able to handle conversion from JVC's Hi-Def TOD format, and also MOD format video files, as that would make it so much more useful.

Change the default of 'Add Files' to include only Video and Audio files. Also, please switch the layout drop-down Help menu from 'Purchase' to 'Help'

The menu layout would be: Help - Purchase Online - Home Page - ..... etc - About

The aspect ratio doesn't change with the profile chosen. Fix this, and maybe add popup bubbles explaining what the output video settings do when you hover the cursor over each of the various options..

Get rid of the getting started message on the main GUI - makes it look untidy and is unecessary as their are clear instructions in the help document. Maybe add a small button to take you to the instuctions

Point the add files button and the one in the tool bar menu directly to the video folder in My Documents. At present it points to whatever you opened last.

Include more resolution and aspect ratio choices and change the 'Video Bit Rate & Frame Rate' menu's to a slider option for greater flexibility

I think sliders are much better than the drop down menu alternative. Easier to use and more flexible as you can select a much larger number of 'rates'

add trim tool.

To be really functional.. especially for merging, needs a trim tool rather than simply a clip tool, ahich has to start at beginning and end virtually at the end, just to trim off the end.
